PEPPERMINT – 100% Pure Plant, Therapeutic Grade Essential Oil

Scent Characteristics: minty, hot, herbaceous, with a vegetative back note
History: What do you get when you cross Spearmint and Watermint? Peppermint! There are many varieties of mint, and they naturally and easily cross-pollinate with each other. Peppermint is now classified as a hybrid. It was propagated before the 17th century in England and now cultivated worldwide. It has also been widely used in personal hygiene products including aftershave and toothpaste.
Benefits: cooling, stimulant to heart, brain, and pancreas, nerve tonic, anesthetic, pain, decongests the prostate, regulates ovarian hormones, for insufficient liver and pancreases enzymes, flatulence, belching, headache (blend with Lavender), migraines, nerve pain (sciatica), kidney and gallstones, cools a fever, menstrual cramps, sinusitis, calms the mind, depression, respiratory distress, aching muscles, nausea, increases blood flow, sore throat, irritable colon, halts negative thoughts, infectious diseases, lymph drainage, asthma, arthritis, insect bites, toothache.Treats nausea and car sickness
Blends Well With: Basil, Balsam, Black Pepper, Cypress, Eucalyptus, Geranium, Grapefruit, Juniper Berry, Lavender, Lemon, Sweet Marjoram, Niaouli, Pine, Ravensara aromatica, Rosemary, Tea Tree & Other Mints.
Advisory: Non-toxic, non-irritant (except in concentration), possible sensitization in some individuals. Use in moderation. Do not use during pregnancy, while nursing, or on babies. Avoid use near eyes.
